Meribeth never met a stranger, and she was the friend that always had your back.  So many memories of my high school years revolve around Meribeth and her antics.  We were the groupies for the boys cross country team, and always took time to visit Holly Hill after one of their meets.  We had our spring 'bike built for 2' rides' on the east side of Milwaukee.  Once we got all the way down to the airport, but we were too tired to bike back.  I think we found someone with a truck to drive us back to the rental place.  Who could forget the baby blue Rambler convertable that always stopped running in the most inconvient places. ( Ask Nancy D about stealing carrots out of a field because she was hungry after snycro swim practice.)  Our trips downtown to the library to write papers for Mr Harris.  Judy and I would be the organ grinder & monkey, while Meribeth collected money from strangers on the street for gas and food.  The time Meibeth and I had to visit the principals office after a police visit to the school.  We cried, and got out of it.  So many stories and so many memories.  Love you dear Meribeth.  You will be missed.  RIP

From Bonnie Seitz Kenny:

I knew Meribeth since we were in Sunday school together.  Yes, Sunday school!  Through thick and thin, there were many common bonds, with Job's Daughters probably being the most intense.  Meribeth was a past honored queen of Job's Daughters!
At the 55th reunion, she expressed that much of her ability to participate in life had changed.  However, there was still a sparkle in her eye, as she loved being with our class and included in all the memories and monkey shines.
It makes me feel good to know that she would love to see the memories we're writing of her!
This moves me, as I write of her,

Love,
Bonnie Seitz Kenny
