Pat, as he was know to us who grew up with him, was a "life of the party" kind of guy. Whenever he was around whatever was happening was bound to be more fun. He went on to own two taverns in Milwaukee. I have many memories of great times growing up in the old neighborhood near 35th Street School and Pat was a big part of why it was so much fun. He was also a darn good quarterback on our neighborhood football team which was played full-contact with no pads or helmets which accounted for most of the broken noses in our neighborhood.
