During the time I served  as stage manager  Richard worked on A/V and audio control. He was probably ome of the few students that spent more time out of class than I.  That said, Richard was a modal of hard  work and timeleness.  My recollection of Richard was that he covered every assignment he was given and did so in a  timely manner.  At times we tend to forget about service people.  Richard was a servant and is missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Richard was tall, even in first grade. I think it was the summer between first and second, that he lost one of his eyes in an accident involving his brother and the lawnmower. He was always very nice, but  quiet. I know he passed on before our 10th reunion. (Someone said he died in Vietnam, but with a glass eye, he shouldn't have been there.)  I remember how it hurt to think of him being gone before he was even 27.
