I knew Mary all of my life. She was not only my friend, but also my cousin.
She was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known. We shared so much together growing up. We were only 2 months different in age.
Mary married Jim Locke 42 yrs ago and they had two beautiful daughters. Kris and Shelly.
Kris is married and they have a daughter, Miranda, who was the apple of Mary's eye!
Shelly just got engaged last Christmas and will be married in June of 2013.
Mary and Jim own a home in Greendale, WI. They had a wonderful life together, and loved spending time with their family.
Mary lost her battle with Cancer on August 5, 2007. She was in hospice. I wanted to go see her, as I was in Wisconsin for another funeral (my nephew who died Aug.3), so I had been in contact with Jim to make arrangements to come by. When I called him to tell him I was on my way, he informed me that I had just missed her, she had passed just minutes ago. She is deeply missed by so many who were blessed to have her as a part of their lives! R I P Mary!
I also remember my dear friend Mary. We would walk to school every morning along with Diane, another dear friend. I'm so glad that Mary had a happy full life. I'm so happy our lives touched, if only for a short time.
