What a shame, Susan was a lovely lady inside and out. I can't believe she lived to near to me - Bangor is about 26 miles from Tomah. Susan was a very classy classmate, always fond memories.
I remember Susie as being very classy, kind and sweet. From the family picture posted, it appears she had a very rewarding life with a large family. I'm sure she was very missed at the reunion tonight and also tomorrow. Sweet dreams lovely lady!
I just received such a shock when I read that Suzie had passed away. We had sent a couple of messages back and forth and she never even told me that she had been/was ill. Many, many memories of Suzie - horseback riding together (one time being thrown & breaking my tailbone), dancing in my living room, visiting her grandpa at his store on 35th & Villard. She was quite the girl! She will be missed.
Sitting in the ballroom at the reuinion, listening to "Fields of Barley", being sad for those of us who didn't have time to learn the "life lessons" the rest of us are so happy to have learned, and at the very end, there was Suzy, lost to us just two days before!!!!
I looked around and thought, "She can be right here with us now. Time and space are not a boundary anymore."
She was lovely, even back in the day, and I am certain, like the rest of us, she just got better and better!!!
